Neurotica explores the border between objectification and exhibitionism. Openly playing with stereotypes, the film investigates female sexuality as a source of both victimization and empowerment. When a young woman is harassed during her lunch break, she discovers the power of her sexuality. Refusing to be victimized, she deliberately turns herself into a spectacle. She makes eye contact with the man who harassed her and seductively continues to eat her lunch. By acknowledging his lustful gaze, she gains control of the situation. Yet ultimately, this is only the illusion of power. Her actions replicate the traditional gender hierarchy rather than subvert it.
